This distribution combines FakeRaT "binary" and "library" archives.

 ************ To run FakeRaT in the interactive mode ************

 * Install PGPLOT and point the environment variable PGPLOT_DIR to
the installation directory. The command may look like this:

export PGPLOT_DIR=/usr/lib/pgplot5/

The best way to install PGPLOT is by using a package manager that comes with
your Linux distribution. The directory where PGPLOT gets installed differs
between Linux distribution, for example: /usr/lib/pgplot5/ on Ubuntu,
/usr/lib64/pgplot/ on Gentoo.
You may want to add the export command to your .bashrc file, so there is
no need to run it manually every time you open a new terminal.

 * Install tcsh (C-shell interpreter, may already be present in your system)

 * Start FakeRaT:

cd fakerat_20120305_v69
./f

 ************ To run FakeRaT in the non-interactive mode ************

 * Install SCHED
 * Install WCStools
 * Set time interval for computations inside the script autofake.sh
 * Run:

./autofake.sh 0716+714

where '0716+714' is one of the sources listed in 'sources.radioastron'.
Beware, these computations take long time!

 ************ Additional scripts for work with SCHED ************
      (Ground telescopes only, no RadioAstron constraints)

 * Print the list of ground radio telescopes that see the source 0716+714
for 40 minutes staring at December 31, 2012, 21:20 UT:

./autosched.sh 31.12.2012 21:20:00 0716+714 40

 * Compute which radio telescopes see the target source B0823+26
during 24 hours starting at August 11, 2015, 00:00 UT.

./daily_visibility_profile.sh 11.08.2015 B0823+26

Beware, these computations take long time!
